PUBLIC NOTICE

EMPANELMENT OF MEDICAL OFFICER FOR HEALTH CLINICS/HEALTH & WELLNESS CENTERS/MOHALLA CLINICS IN URBAN & RURAL AREAS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE PUNJAB

The interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions & other criteria (mentioned below)  for  the  post  of  Medical  Officer  may  apply  online  on  Department’s  website

Important Dates

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of selection criteria and Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling. Candidates may see in which District they wish to work and accordingly fill online form:-

1.  TENTATIVE NUMBER OF STATIONS

Note:-

•  The Centers may become operational on different dates. Therefore, if a person is

empanelled for a place which is yet to be operational then his/her services shall be engaged once the centre becomes functional.

•The exact locations of the Health Clinics shall be displayed on the website two days prior to the date of the counseling. 

2.  ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS & OTHER CRITERIA

  Age Limit: As Mentioned above on 1st Jan 2022.

  Candidates should have passed subject of Punjabi upto Matric standard. If the candidate has not passed Punjabi upto Matric, he will be given 6 months time to pass the subject.

  Candidates should have registered with Punjab Medical Council/ Medical Council

of India. If the candidate has not registered, he/she will be given 1 month time to get registered with Punjab Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.

3.  MODE OF SELECTION :-  SELECTION CRITERIA

*Residence Proof :- Domicile Certificate/Aadhar Card/Passport/Voter ID 

4.  The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of selection criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling for checking the eligibility and the list of shortlisted candidates  will be displayed  on  the Department’s  website www.nhm.punjab.gov.in. Further, no notice for interview would be issued separately to the shortlisted candidates.

5.  The applications can be submitted through online mode only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted by the Department.

6.  Office will hold no responsibility if any entry in the online form is incorrectly made by any candidate and he/she can be declared not eligible due to wrong entries of his/her credentials. It is advised that all  entries are cross checked by candidates themselves before finally entering the data.

7.  The candidate should fulfill the condition of eligibility criteria except age on the last date of receipt of applications.

8.  Office will not be responsible for non receipt of online application of the candidate due to any reason whatsoever.

9.  Application submitted through online form does not imply that candidate has fulfilled the criteria given in the advertisement and application is subject to subsequent scrutiny and can be rejected, if candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria at any point of time of the recruitment process.

10.The post may be increased or decreased at any stage.

State Government reserves the right to cancel the entire process at any stage without issuing any notice. Candidates are advised to visit department’s website regularly for updates.
