Applications in  prescribed format  are invited  from  the  citizens of  India for  filling  up of the  following  posts

(Teaching) at North  Eastern Regional Institute  of Science & Technology, Nirjuli -  791109 (Ita nagar), Arunachal

Preference  will be given  to specialization   In Wild Life Management,   Remote  Sensing  & GIS, Tree  Improvements
& Genetics,  Horticulture  and Agriculture.

06.12.2022   (5.00  PM).  The  printed  &  signed   hard   copy  of  the  application     along  with  certified   copies  of  all certificates/   documents,   two  copies  of  recent  passport  size  photograph   (one  should  be pasted  on  the  form),  and  a non-refundable   application   fee of ~500/-(SC/ST   candidates  are exempted)   in the  form  of Demand  Draft,  drawn  in favour  of  Director,    NERIST    and  payable   at  SBI   NERIST    Nirjuli    (Code   No.18744)    Itanagar,     Arunachal Pradesh   should  reach the  Registrar,    NERIST,   Nirjuli,  PIN -791109, Arunachal  Pradesh  by Registered/Speed    Post only,  superscribing   the  envelope   as "Application   for the  post  of  Professor  or  Associate   Professor".   Last   Date  of receipt  of complete   signed  Hard  Copy  of application    is 15.12.2022  (5.00 PM).

General   Conditionsl1nstructions:

1.Filled in  applications    only  in  prescribed    format   received   through   email  followed   by  signed   hardcopy   by

Speed   Post will be entertained;

2. Submission  of hard  copy of prescribed   application   in format(Annexure-l)    with  Annexures   with  details  as per
AICTE/UGCregulation   as applicable   are  required   for the  post  of Professor   or Associate   Professor.

3.  Incomplete   applications   and/or   applications   received  after  the  due  date  shall  summarily   be  rejected   and  no further  correspondence    in this matter  shall be entertained;

4.Vacancies  are tentative   and  may increase  or decrease;

5.The pay bands  carry other  allowances  admissible  as per Government   of India rules;

6. Institute  reserves  the  right to fill or not to fill any or all of the vacancies  advertised;

7. Applications  received   in response   to  the  advertisement    will be  scrutinized;   and  short-listed    candidates   only will be  called  for  interview.   Mere  fulfillment   of minimum   eligibility  criteria   laid  down  in the  advertisement does  not entitle  automatically   a candidate   to be called for interview.  The decision  of the  Institute  Authority  for short-listing  of candidates   shall be final and  binding;

8.The candidate   should  bring original certificates   at the  time  of interview  for verification;

9. Depending  on availability  of qualified  candidates,   different  departments    may set  different   short-listing  criteria;

10. No correspondence     whatsoever    will be  entertained    from  candidates    regarding   postal   delays,   conduct   and result  of interview  and  reasons  for not being called for interview; 

11. Persons  employed    in  Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs/ Autonomous Institutions  hould submit their    applications through   proper  channel;

12. Canvassing in any form  would  lead to disqualification    of candidature;

13.  Any change of address  should  be communicated    at once;

14.  The Demand  Draft  should   not  be drawn   before  the  date  of  issue of this  advertisement     and  after  the  closing date of receipt  of application   online  and also should  have validity   at least for  three  months.

15. Candidates  willing  to apply  for two  or more  posts  must  submit  separate  applications    and fees, if applicable,   for each post,  in separate  envelopes;

16. The Institute   will  not  be responsible   for  any delay due to  postal,  email  delivery  failure,   etc;

17. Callletters to the candidates will be sent bye-mail.

18. In case of any legal dispute,  it  will  be resolved only under jurisdiction  of Guwahati  High Court,  Itanagar

Permanent Bench.
