Walk-in-Interview   for the temporary  Positions  of Project Associates.  Laboratory  Assistant  &

Senior Project Associate

The  Director,   CSIR-Indian    Institute   of  Petroleum,   Dehradun   on  behalf   of  the  sponsors   of  the  Projects   is interested  to engage  Project Associates, Laboratory Assistant & Senior Project Associate in different  levels  and for empanelment    for  future   positions/requirements     for  various   time-bound    projects   in  different   schemes.   The eligibility  criterion  is as follows:-



Stipend

(i)For  Project  Associate-I   Positions:   (i)The monthly stipend at the rate of  Rs. 31000+HRA will be given to the candidates who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC  NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or  GATE  or  (b) A  Selection  Process through  National  level  examination  conducted  by Central Government Dept. and their agencies and institutions, (ii)Others who do not fall under (i) above will get monthly stipend Rs, 25000+HRA.
(ii) For  Project  Associate-II   Positions:   (i)The monthly stipend at the rate of Rs. 35000+HRA will be given to the candidates who are selected through (a)National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC  NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or  GATE  or  (b) A  Selection  Process through  National  level examination  conducted  by Central Government Dept. and their agencies and institutions. (ii)Others who do not fall under (i) above will get monthly stipend Rs. 28000+HRA

The above monthly stipends may be increased or decreased on the basis of future notifications/guidelines, if any, issued by CSIR Hqrs., New Delhi from time to time.

Relaxation in age limit will be given as per Govt. of India Rules.
8:30 AM sharp at the Institute Reception on address mentioned above.
Note:   The candidates are requested to report in time otherwise no candidate would be allowed to appear for walk-interview  

Mode of Selection:    Selection is to be done on the basis of walk-in-Interview; however, written examination may be conducted for screening, if required. Syllabus of the written  examination would be from concerned subject.
General Terms & Conditions:

1.Eligible  and  interested  candidates  are  required  to  appear  at  CSIR-Indian  Institute  of  Petroleum, Mohkampur, Haridwar Road, Dehradun for walk-in-interview on the  above mentioned stipulated dates along alongwith duly filled-in  application form, which  may be downloaded  from  the  Institute website www.iip.res.in supported  by  one  set  of  self  attested  copies  of  certificates  regarding  (i)  Educational Qualification, (ii) Age, (iii) Category  (in case  of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates), (iv) One latest passport size photograph, (v) Experience certificate, if any; and (vi) detailed biodata etc.
2.Original certificates are required for verification, which would be returned immediately on the same day
after verification.
3.Engagement as Project Staff will initially be for a period of six months/one year depending upon the project requirement, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the project/desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.                                  
4.Tenure of engagement of the  Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the  project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five years duration. The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that anyone  not found up to the mark, could be terminated without
assigning any reason.
5.All these positions are temporary and are on behalf of the sponsors and, therefore, does not confer any
right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit for absorption on any post in CSIR-IIP/CSIR.
6.Candidates have option to reply in Hindi during the interview.
7.On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and "No Demand Certificate" in the previous project.
8.Houre Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid as per rules. If accommodation is provided, licence fee, water and electricity charges would be deducted as per CSIR rules.
9.The Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave and dispensary facility, as per rules.
10.Canteen facilities as available in the Institute may be utilized on payment of suitable charges.
11.Experience,  where  required,  will  be  calculated  from  the  date  of  acquiring  minimum  educational qualification.
12.Final semester and results awaited candidates are not eligible for above mentioned positions.
13.TNDA will not be paid for appearing in walk-in-interivew or for reporting to duty after selection.
14.Number of positions may vary depending upon the Project requirements.
15.The panel of Project Staff may be prepared for future requirements, if any, or for up-coming projects.  The
Director, CSIR-IIP reserves the right to not to fill any or all advertised posts. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification for the positions.
